My Music Journey

I came out of the Womb singing. Church choir to praise and worship leader. Music has always been my refuge. I pride myself on my Soul Embodies expression. The world throws so much at us, I believe it is a creatives prerogative to make sense of the senseless.

Nature my muse, teacher and main force of connection.

Free styling is intrinsic at this point. Growing up around MC and rap battles. I have collected an astute repertoire of poetry in motions. This is me At Brick-lane Jazz Festival at 93 along side the fivepointsproject.

Guitar has always been a huge part of my writing process. I am completely self taught, my Cousin was the first person to gift me a guitar when I was 9. My love of flamenco and finger style guitarist like Tommy Emmanuel, Estas Tonne really stirred the classical nerd inside me.

My Band SwanNek’s London Debut as part of a QueerJazz Event, At Hootenanny in Brixton. The name of song is Psychomanteum, which is the experiences of using a mirror in a dim lite room not to reflect the light but darkness intended to communicated with the spirits pf the dead. Our EP ‘At What Cost?’ was a farewell to our loved ones we all lost.
